摘　　要：《桑尼的优势》是彼得·汉密尔顿的短篇小说之一,其主要探讨了未来生物科技引发的一系列伦理问题,为当下人类在未来处理人、环境与科技的密切关系时,提供了一种具有伦理教诲功能的实践范本。鉴于此,文章通过文学伦理学批评理论解读作品所处的伦理环境,反思不同人物在宗教、媒体、教育、商业等发生伦理扭曲的情况下作出的非道德抉择,分析桑尼与兽格斗的伦理选择的动因及成为女驯兽师的伦理身份本质;以及在人性因子超越兽性因子的伦理意识驱使下,桑尼在黑暗中所展现出的优势伦理形象,传达了科学伦理教诲功能。Sonnie’s Edge is adapted from Peter Hamilton’s short story of the same name.It discusses a series of ethical problems caused by biotechnology in the future,which can provide a practical model with ethical teaching function for current human beings when dealing with the close relationship between human,environment and technology in the future.In view of this,this paper interprets the ethical environment of the works through the theory of literary ethical criticism,reflects on the immoral choices made by different characters in the case of ethical distortions in religion,media,education and business,and analyzes the motivation of Sonny’s ethical choice of fighting with animals and the essence of ethical identity as a female trainer.Driven by the ethical consciousness that human factors surpass animal factors,Sonny’s superior ethical image in the dark conveys the function of scientific ethics education.
