沈从文《边城》的地方诗学实践及其当代审美价值

摘　　要：以人文地理学的地方理论观照沈从文的《边城》,其浓郁的地域性色彩不仅显露出沈从文个人对于故乡湘西的“恋地情结”,其有关湘西的地方书写更是一次成功的地方诗学实践。《边城》所展现的“湘西世界”是在湘西地方性的基础上融入艺术想象而生成的虚构的“地方”,是沈从文根植于湘西的“地方感”所重构出来的一个彰显美善的理想化地方社会。透过对湘西人文生态和地方性知识的“深描”,沈从文在其文学的“湘西世界”中以独特的地方诗学实践重构了“文学的湘西”,艺术化地把湘西形塑成为一个地域性的文化符号。作为地方诗学实践的产物,《边城》“湘西世界”的美学价值对于我们当下建设美好社会,反思“无地方”问题等都具有现实启发意义。Looking at Shen Congwen’s Border Town with the theory of place of human geography,it is easy to find that its strong regional color not only highlights Shen’s personal“topophilia”for his hometown of Xiangxi(the western part of Hunan),his writing of locality about Xiangxi is also a successful local writing practice.The“world of Xiangxi”presented in Border Town is a fictional“place”created by integrating artistic imagination on the basis of the localities of this place,and is an idealized local society of beauty and goodness built by the writer’s“sense of place”rooted in Xiangxi.Through“thick description”of the human ecology and local knowledge of Xiangxi,Shen Congwen recreated a“literary Xiangxi”through his unique local writing practice out of his literary world of Xiangxi,and artistically shaped Xiangxi into a regional cultural symbol.As a metaphor,the aesthetic value of the literary“world of Xiangxi”is a realistic inspiration for us in building better local societies and avoiding“placelessness”in social development.
