摘　　要：数字时代信息传播技术(Information and Communication Technology,ICT)的广泛应用引发了人类对数字认知的变化,实现了以数字化媒介进行的多模态信息知识传播,服务于数字时代的知识承载与传播的语言基础设施建设应运而生。术语知识库既是翻译实践的知识化技术工具,也是数字时代语言基础设施的组成部分,发挥了数字化传播媒介的作用。它整合利用并深度管理特定专业领域的术语知识资源,以多语言的知识表达支持数字时代的多语言跨文化传播,以数字信息知识的多模态呈现迎合了数字认知模式的要求。文章分析了术语知识库的特点和功用、传播环境和社会应用,论述了术语知识库作为数字化多模态传播媒介其多语言发展的意义和多模态实现的途径。The widespread use of Information and Communication Technology(ICT)in the digital age has exerted influence on human cognitive changes in the digital age and realized the multi-modal information knowledge transmission by digital media.The historical construction of language resources and technologies infrastructure serving for the information and knowledge media in the digital age has emerged.Terminological knowledge bases are intellectualized tools for the translation practice as well as a constituent of the language infrastructure in the digital age,while playing the role of digital communication media.They integrate and systemize for better benefits of terminological knowledge resources in specific subjects or fields,supporting multilingual cross-cultural communication in the digital era with multilingual knowledge expressions,and catering for the digital cognitive mode with multimodal representation of digital data.In this paper,we analyze the characteristics and functions of terminological knowledge bases,their communication environments and social applications.We also explicate the significance of the multilingual development of terminological knowledge bases and the realization of multimodal data representation.
