当阳曹家岗M5、赵巷M4的年代与文化因素述论

摘　　要：当阳曹家岗M5附葬坑发现的几件青铜礼器,既晚于南阳彭射墓亦略晚于淅川下寺M10出土的同类器,而略早于寿县蔡侯墓随葬的相关遗物,与南阳彭启墓发现的同类礼器相近似,制作年代当在公元前510年上下或略早,该墓的下葬约在公元前500年前后。赵巷M4残存的几件铜礼器,与下寺M36和M4所见的同类器相当,其下葬以在公元前570年前后比较适宜,属春秋中晚期之际。曹家岗M5的埋葬方式与器物特征,呈现典型楚文化的风格,墓主人可能是春秋晚期的楚国名臣申包胥。赵巷M4包含有不同的文化因素,墓主当是一位地位较高、身份较特别的楚系异姓贵族。Several bronze ritual vessels were found in a pit associated with tomb M5 at Caojiagang of Dangyang in Hubei Province.They are later than those from the tomb of Pengshe in Nanyang City of Henan Province,slightly later than similar items unearthed at Xiasi M10 in Xichuan of Henan Province,but slightly earlier than related artifacts buried with Marquis Cai in Shouxian County of Anhui Province.They are similar to the same types of ritual vessels discovered in the tomb of Pengqi in Nanyang City,the manufacturing date of which was likely around 510 BCE or slightly earlier,and the burial taking place around 500 BCE.The few bronze ritual vessels unearthed from M4 at Zhaoxiang are similar to those seen in Xiasi M36 and M4,with the most appropriate burial time being around 570 BCE,in the middle and late Spring and Autumn periods.The burial method and the characteristics of bronze objects found in Caojiagang M5 are typical of the Chu culture.We suggest that the tomb owner may have been Shen Baoxu,a famous minister of the Chu State in the late Spring and Autumn period.The tomb M4 at Zhaoxiang contains different cultural elements,suggesting that the tomb owner was a high-ranking,unique nobleman with a surname different from Chu.
