摘 要:自孔子始,儒家历来崇“学”重“教”,强调“学”对于“成人”“为政”的重要作用。孟、荀承继了夫子重“学”之传统,相较于孟子成德之教重“反求诸己”,荀子重“学”的倾向更加明显。荀子直承孔子,博取诸子所长,形成了其以“礼”为主要内核的“君子之学”。在荀子的思想世界,“人之性恶”决定了人之为学的必要性,“性恶”论也因之成为了荀子论“学”的重要思想基础。荀子之论“学”以“礼”为本,在“学”的内容上,强调“学至乎礼而止”;在“学”的态度上,主张“学至乎没而后止”;在“学”的目的上,提出“学以成人”“积礼义而为君子”,以“学礼”作为养成君子之德的主要路径。Since Confucius,Confucianism has always valued“learning”and“teaching”,emphasizing the importance of“learning”for“to be human”and“governance”.Mencius and Xunzi inherited Confucius’tradition of emphasizing“learning”,but compared to Mencius’emphasis on“turning inward and examining yourself”in the education system of virtue cultivation,Xunzi’s tendency to emphasize“learning”is more obvious.Xunzi directly inherited Confucius’ideas and drew on the strengths of other scholars to create his“study of junzi(man of virtue)”with“li(etiquette)”as the main core.In Xunzi’s thought,“evil human nature”determines the necessity of learning,and the idea of“evil human nature”thus serves as a crucial ideological basis for Xunzi’s“learning”theory.The concept of“learning”is based on“li”for Xunzi.In terms of the learning content,it emphasizes that“learning is as far as li stops”;in terms of“learning”attitude,it advocates“learning to the end of nothing and then stopping”;in terms of“learning”purpose,it promotes the idea of“learning to be human”,“accumulating li and righteousness to be a man of virtue”and that“learning of li”is the main path to the virtue cultivation of a man of virtue.
