摘　　要：BASED on the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013,the Belt and Road Film Festival Alliance and the Belt and Road Film Week were founded at the 21st Shanghai International Film Festival(SIFF)in June 2018.In the past five years membership of the alliance has grown from 31 film institutions in 29 countries to 55 institutions in 48 countries.
