近代报纸“附张”的时代价值——基于《时报》与陈撷芬著译小说《人兽接脑记》的一次媒介考察

摘　　要：《时报》是20世纪上半叶具有广泛社会影响的日报之一。1908年狄葆贤独立经营后,开办书局、杂志和系列的报刊“附张”,锐意革新《时报》的系统化管理,推动新小说的创作与现代转型。他率先创办《时报》附张《妇女周刊》,聘请张默君为编辑主任,宣传新思想,塑造新妇女,普及科学知识,引领妇女报刊的繁荣,扶植女性文学创作。陈撷芬著译的科学小说《人兽接脑记》,幻想创造人脑与兽体结合的新物种,实现建设新世界的理想。对《妇女周刊》及陈撷芬著译小说的考察,不仅是打开妇女思想与陈撷芬研究的新视角,也是对《时报》系列报刊在近现代小说研究中史料价值的一次重新审视。The Times is one of the daily newspapers with extensive social influence in the first half of the 20th century.In 1908,after Di Baoxian’s independent operation,he set up a publishing house,a magazine and a series of newspaper and periodical supplements,determined to innovate the systematic management of The Times and promote the creation and modern transformation of new fiction.He founded the supplement Women’s Weekly to The Times(with Zhang Mojun as the editorial director),through which he propagated new ideas,shaped new women,popularized scientific knowledge,led the prosperity of women’s newspapers,and supported the creation of female literature.Chen Xiefen’s science fiction Human-Beast Brain Integration fantasizes about creating a new species combining human brain and animal body to realize the ideal of building a new world.An investigation of Women’s Weekly and Chen Xiefen’s science fiction provides not only a new perspective of women’s thoughts and the study on Chen Xiefen,but also a re-examination of the historical value of the series of The Times in the study of modern and contemporary fiction.
