摘 要:已有研究表明,出于对社会情感财富的追求,家族企业具有更高的积极性从事绿色创新行为。那么,当CEO由非家族成员担任时,家族企业的绿色创新行为是否会受到影响?基于2007—2021年中国A股污染行业上市家族企业的研究发现,非家族成员担任CEO对企业绿色创新产出具有显著的负向影响,且会采用策略性环境行为,如发布企业环境报告来应对家族的监管压力。进一步分析发现,法制环境和CEO任期在非家族CEO对绿色创新的影响中具有调节作用。研究结论对家族企业职业经理人的管理具有一定启发意义,并为降低家族企业新的代理风险提供了思路。Previous studies have shown that family enterprises have higher enthusiasm to engage in green innovation due to the pursuit of social emotional wealth.This paper is concerned about whether the green innovation behavior of family enterprises will be affected when the CEO is held by non-family members.Based on the research of family enterprises listed in A-share polluting industries from 2007 to 2021,it is found that compared with family CEOs,non-family CEOs have a significant negative impact on the output of green innovation;more importantly,non-family CEOs will prefer the use of strategic ways such as issuing corporate environmental reports to deal with the regulatory pressure from families.Further analysis shows that the legal environment and CEO tenure play a regulatory role in the impact of non-family CEOs on green innovation.This study provides some inspirations for the management of professional managers in family enterprises,and provides new ideas to alleviate the new agency risk of family enterprises.
