摘　　要：Tetanus is the only non-communicable disease among vaccine-preventable infectious diseases.It is caused by an infection with Clostridium tetanus bacterium and is characterized by continuous tonic contraction and paroxysmal spasms of skeletal muscles throughout the body[1].
