摘　　要：哲学作为一项理性的事业,对理性自身进行探究有着重要的意义。思辨理性、交往理性是人们熟知的两种理性形式,它们分别以康德和黑格尔、哈贝马斯为代表,诉诸对他们相关思想的讨论可以理清它们的特征:思辨理性有着实在向度上的形而上探索,交往理性则强调了共同体向度内主体间的话语交往活动的重要性。但基于皮尔斯符号哲学,可以提出理性的第三种形式:符号理性。符号理性以“符号”而非“概念”为基本单位,符号有着事物一对象一阐释项的三元结构,它避开了概念思维中带来问题的现象与本体、概念与对象、心灵与世界等诸多形式的二元范式。透过符号的思考将能在共同体的探究中直接把握实在,符号理性能够同时兼纳前两类理性形式对实在和共同体向度的强调,有着诸多有待挖掘的理论价值。The investigation of rationality is of significance to philosophy,which is typically an enterprise of reason.Two well-known forms of rationality are speculative reason and communicative rationality,represented respectively by Kant,and Hegel and Habermas.A discussion of their relevant ideas helps to clarify the characteristics of these two forms of rationality:speculative reason concerns the metaphysical search for the real whereas communicative rationality emphasises community-oriented discursive communication among subjects.Based on Peirce's philosophy of signs,semiotic rationality can be proposed as a third form of rationality.Rather than the concept,it takes the sign as its basic unit,which has a triadic structure of thing-object-interpretant and avoids the binary paradigms of phenomena and ontology,concept and object,mind and world.Through signs the real can be directly apprehended in the inquiry of the community.Semiotic rationality,which has much theoretical value,can take into account the emphasis on the real and the community from each of the first two forms of rationality.
