摘　　要：专业诊断与改进是提高高职院校人才培养质量、加强专业建设的重要手段。以高职院校中的应用化工技术专业为研究对象,基于SWOT分析应用化工技术专业的优势、劣势、机会、威胁等现状,并针对该专业诊断现状,提出了完善专业建设机制、加强教师队伍建设、提高经费保障、深化校企合作、强化学生教育等措施。Professional diagnosis and improvement is an important means to improve the quality of talent training and strengthen professional construction in higher vocational colleges.This paper takes the applied chemical technology major in higher vocational colleges as the research object,analyzes the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of applied chemical technology major based on SWOT,and proposes measures to improve the professional construction mechanism,strengthen the construction of teachers,improve the funding guarantee,deepen the cooperation between schools and enterprises,and strengthen the education of students based on the diagnosis status of this major.
