论汤显祖传奇对《霍小玉传》的改编

摘　　要：汤显祖以唐传奇《霍小玉传》为题材,创作了《紫箫记》与《紫钗记》两部戏曲。这两部剧作虽都是以《霍小玉传》为本事,但其中表达的思想却有很大不同:因科举受挫,汤显祖在《紫箫记》中流露出浓厚的佛道思想;为与社会不公作斗争,在《紫钗记》中则表达了对侠义精神的赞美。两部剧作的背后,一条共同的主线是汤显祖在“至情”道路上的探索。Tang Xianzu took the Tang legend Biography of Huo Xiaoyu as the theme and created two operas,The Legend of Purple Flute and The Legend of Purple Hairpin.Although these two plays are based on Biography of Huo Xiaoyu,the ideas expressed in them are very different:due to the setback of the imperial examination,Tang Xianzu revealed a strong Buddhist and Taoist thoughts in The Legend of Purple Flute,while in The Legend of Purple Hairpin,he expressed his praise for the chivalrous spirit to fight against social injustice.Behind the two operas,a common main line is Tang Xianzu’s exploration on the road of“the most genuine passion”.
