摘　　要：新农科建设给涉农高校的外语教育提供了机遇,同时也带来了挑战。本文探讨新农科建设与外语教育的关系,指出目前外语教育存在的问题。本文认为,涉农高校外语教育首先要培养学生的“知农爱农”情怀,这是时代的要求。本文通过实例说明,新农科建设背景下的涉农高校外语教育要把培养新型外语人才落到实处。The construction of new agricultural science provides opportunities and challenges for foreign language education in agricultural universities.This article outlines the relationship between the construction of new agricultural science and foreign language education,and points out the current problems in foreign language education.The article believes that foreign language education in agricultural universities should first cultivate students' feelings of “knowing agriculture” and “loving agriculture”,which is a requirement of the present times.The article illustrates through practical examples that foreign language education in agricultural universities under the background of the construction of new agricultural science should effectively cultivate new foreign language talents.
