摘　　要：运用历史叙述的手法,阐述了袁敦礼先生体育思想与主张的国家意识、时代价值与历史贡献.旨在表明袁敦礼先生作为探寻教育兴邦、体育图强的践行者,不仅为人们树立了一个赤诚丹心、教育报国极为生动的历史典范,而且为西北地区高等体育教育发展提供了深厚的学理支撑与历史滋养.By means of historical narration,this paper expounds the national consciousness,era value as well as the historical contri-bution of Yuan Dunli's sports thoughts and propositions.It aims to show that Yuan Dunli,as a practitioner of national prosperity and a pioneer of sports culture,not only sets up a vivid historical model of sincerity and loyal service to the country,but also has provided profound historical nourishment and academic support for the development of higher physical education in the northwest region of China.
