With the development of science and technology,a variety of mechanical devices are being robotized.Hence, how to evaluate the workload in the process of human-robot collaboration has become the focus. The purpose of this study was to explore the changes of human physical and mental workload when humans and robots jointly completed production tasks.A theoretical framework was constructed to evaluate the workload in the human-robot collaboration.Packaging and computing tasks were designed to simulate the job with different physical and mental workload levels,to verify whether there were significant differences between each index in different load tasks. The results show that the evaluation indexes selected can effectively distinguish and predict the physical and mental workload under different tasks, which verifies the effectiveness of the model. The methods and conclusions can provide a reference for the assessment of physical and mental workload resources in the human-robot collaboration, and provide theoretical support for the assignment of work tasks in the production system.
