摘　　要：随着区域竞争与合作新格局的出现,以城市群为代表的城市区域,日益成为引领国际竞争的重要载体。全球城市区域得益于核心全球城市的功能辐射、要素联动,逐渐在全球城市网络格局中发挥重要作用,成为参与国内国际双循环的基本单元。新时期,如何更加系统地理解全球城市区域的内涵和特征,从形态研究转向功能研究,从对外的整体性和对内的关联性两个维度评价全球城市区域的内涵,将其作为一个相对明确且完整的空间单元载体,对提升区域和国家的未来竞争力有一定的价值和意义。因此,文章以上海全球城市区域为例,对比国内外全球城市区域的发展特征与规律,提炼全球城市区域的整体性和关联性评价体系,认识未来全球城市区域的功能与角色。With the in-depth advancement of new patterns of regional competition and cooperation,city regions represented by urban agglomerations have increasingly become important carriers for leading international competition.Global city regions centered on global cities,benefiting from the functional radiation and element linkage of core global cities,are playing an important role in the global urban network structure.They have become the basic units participating in domestic-international dual circulation.In this new era,a more systematic understanding the essence and characteristics of global city regions is needed.The shift in focus from morphological to functional research and assessing the essence of global city regions from the perspective of both external integrity and internal relevance can be valuable.Recognizing these regions as distinct and complete spatial units can significantly enhance the future competitiveness of regions and nations.Therefore,based on the practical experience of Shanghai's global city region,this article summarizes research reviews of global city regions from domestic and international perspectives,refines the evaluation system for the integrity and relevance of global city regions,and contemplates the future functions and roles of global city regions.
