摘 要:抢占式IaaS可以提高云服务商(cloud service provider,CSP)的资源利用率,但对其收费模式和定价决策的研究仍处于探索阶段.本文考虑三种收费模式:基础模式、保护期模式及混合模式,应用经济学建模、博弈论等方法,研究以CSP利润最大化为目标的最优收费模式决策.研究发现:1)当用户中断成本与周期配置成本比值较大时,混合模式获利最多,随着两个参数的增加,基础模式成为CSP最优选择.2)用户购买决策取决于任务价值,CSP同时提供两种实例时,任务价值更高的用户优先选择保护期实例.3)基础模式下CSP利润和社会福利可以同步实现最大化;混合模式下,只有用户任务价值区间较小时才可能实现二者双赢.研究结论可为产业实践中抢占式IaaS的收费模式及定价决策提供理论依据.Preemptible IaaS can improve the resource utilization of cloud service providers(CSPs).However,less effort has been made into its charging model and pricing strategy.This paper considers three charging models of the preemptible IaaS including the basic model,the protection period model,and the mixed model.And then,by using an economic model and game theory,we explore the optimal charging model and pricing strategy to maximize the CSP’s profit.The results prove:1)The mixed model brings the maximum profit if the ratio of interruption cost to periodic configuration cost for users is large.Otherwise,with the increasing interruption cost and decreasing periodic configuration cost,the CSP prefers the basic model to achieve profit maximization.2)Users’purchase decision depends on their own task value:When the CSP offers both basic and protected instances,users with higher task value would prefer to purchase the latter.3)When the CSP achieves profit maximization from the basic model,social welfare always becomes the best.When the profit of the mixed mode is maximum and only the interval of the task value is small,its social welfare is also higher than those of other models.These findings provide theoretical guidance for CSP to decide charging model and pricing strategy in the preemptible IaaS market.
