摘 要:中国现当代小说的译介是中国文化“走出去”战略的领头羊,其在海外的传播效果和途径一直是相关研究的重点和难点。从社会翻译学角度出发,以《废都》葛浩文英译本的副文本为研究对象,结合其在海外传播的经历,分析社会要素在翻译活动中的影响和作用。研究发现,场域之间的差异、博弈和演变给《废都》英译版在海外的传播提供了适合的土壤,资本给其出版和传播提供了资金支持和出版渠道,各类型代理人促进了目标语读者对英译版的理解和接受。未来,中国本土文学的海外译介和传播不仅要注重作品题材的选择,改变翻译意识和习惯,重视资本的联合和转化,还要注重相关专门人才的发掘和培养,拓宽出版渠道,重视译后评价效应。As the leading sheep of China’s going out cultural strategy,the translation of contemporary Chinese novels has been paid sufficient attention on its translation strategies and reception effects.From the perspective of translation sociology studies,this article analyzes the paratext of the English translation of Feidu,Ruined City,based on the three elements of capital,field,and agent in the translation and introduction of Chinese literary works.The study found that the differences,games,and evolution between fields provided a suitable environment for the overseas dissemination of the English translation of the Ruined City.Capital provided financial support and publishing channels for its publication and dissemination,and various types of agents promoted the understanding and acceptance of target language readers towards the Ruined City.The overseas translation and dissemination of Chinese literature not only require attention to the selection of works,changes in translation consciousness and habits,and the importance of capital cooperation and transformation,but also require attention to the exploration and cultivation of relevant specialized talents,the expansion of publishing channels,and the importance of post-translation evaluation effects.
