摘　　要：作为中华优秀传统文化的重要组成部分,中原文化凝聚着中华民族奋斗不息的厚重内涵、蕴涵着历久弥新的生命力。弘扬中原优秀传统文华是中原地区高校应肩负的责任,其中语言类课程对中原文化传承与传播具有天然优势。在英语课堂中有机融入优秀传统文化,树立学习者文化自信,提升民族自豪感,提升英语学习者学习效率,实现课程思政的教育目标。As a vital part of traditional Chinese culture,Central Plains culture embodies the profound connotation for the continuous struggle of the Chinese nation and contains enduring vitality.Colleges and universities in Central Plains shoulder the responsibilities for carrying forward the culture of Central Plains.Language courses have natural advantages in the inheritance and dissemination of Central Plains culture.The organic integration of excellent traditional culture in the English classroom can build learners’cultural confi dence,enhance their national pride,improve learning effi ciency,and achieve the goals in ideological and political courses.
