摘 要:巴赫金和舒斯特曼都重视身体审美的意义。二人均从身心一元论出发,走出了审美无功利的传统观念,但也存在着一些差异。舒斯特曼注重身体审美的实用功能,巴赫金则更加关注身体审美的政治意义;舒斯特曼在一定程度上立足于个体的身体感知,巴赫金的狂欢化美学则赋予身体以集体性、社会性等特点;舒斯特曼强调身体审美的解放功能,巴赫金则看到了身体审美解放的局限性与压抑性。巴赫金的身体理论与舒斯特曼的身体美学在理论上的差异性给了两者对话与互补的可能,但二者均未充分关注到社会解放对身体审美解放的决定性作用。Both Bakhtin and Shusterman attach importance to the significance of body aesthetics.Both of them walk out of the traditional concept of body-mind monism,but there are some differences.First,Shusterman pays attention to the practical function of body aesthetics,while Bakhtin pays more attention to the political significance of body aesthetics.Second,Shusterman’s theory is based on individual body perception to a certain extent,while Bakhtin’s carnival aesthetics gives body with collective and social characteristics.Moreover,Shusterman emphasizes the liberation function of body aesthetics,while Bakhtin sees the limitation and repression of body aesthetic liberation.The theoretical differences between Bakhtin’s body theory and Shusterman’s somaesthetics give them the possibility of dialogues and complementation,but neither of them fully pays attention to the decisive role of social liberation in body aesthetic liberation.
