摘　　要：贺拉斯诗歌语词具有类生命特征,能够自我繁殖与消亡。语词因这特征有机生长,孳乳浸多而终岁消歇。而语词的这种生长,受到“习惯”的修剪与规定,发展为统一的整体。在这种创生与淘汰的过程中,语词涤荡和创新着文学,实现创作的丰产,并起到表达心灵与传递情感的作用。Words and phrases in Horace’s poems are life-like,with the ability to reproduce and perish by themselves.Because of this characteristic,words and phrases in Horace’s poems grow organically,deriving from one another,propagating,and then resting and vanishing.This growth of words and phrases is pruned and regulated by custom and develops into a unified whole.In this process of emergence and elimination,words and phrases cleanse and innovate literature,making it fruitful and better expressing the mind and conveying emotions.
