摘　　要：廖世承重视高等师范教育的地位和作用,主张以师范独立为办学体制、以培养合格教师为办学目标、以严选师资力量为办学保障、以三育并重为教学内容。廖世承的高等师范教育思想与社会教育和战时教育紧密相连,形成了其独特的高等师范教育思想体系。廖世承的高等师范教育思想对当前我国的高等师范教育的改革与发展具有一定的参考价值。Liao Shicheng attaches great importance to the status and role of higher normal education.He advocates that teachers should be independent as the school system,that qualified teachers should be trained as the goal,that teachers should be strictly selected as the guarantee,and that equally important triple education should be used as the teaching content.Liao Shicheng's thought of higher normal education is closely connected with social education and wartime education,forming his unique higher normal education thought system.Liao Shicheng's thought of higher normal education has some reference value to the reform and development of higher normal education in China.
