摘 要:我国传统的中学英语课堂教学由于受应试目的的影响,往往停留在引导学生对基本语言知识进行识记掌握的浅层方面,忽视引导学生对所学知识进行深层次地学习与思考。相对于浅层学习来说的深度学习,强调引导学生在学习过程中进行深层次思考,帮助其培养高阶思维能力,具有注重批判理解、信息整合、知识建构等基本特征,对我国中学英语课堂教学改革具有一定的指导意义。依据深度学习的基本特征,从教学目标、教学内容、教学方法、教学工具和教学评价五个维度阐释中学英语课堂教学模式构建的可能性,为促进中学英语学习者进行深度学习提供参考。Due to the influence of exam-oriented objectives,traditional English teaching in Chinese middle schools often stays at the surface to help students memorize and master basic language knowledge,neglecting to guide students to cultivate the competence of deep learning and reflect the knowledge they have learned.Compared with surface learning,deep learning emphasizes guiding students to engage in deep thinking during the learning process,helping them cultivate higher-order thinking abilities,and has basic characteristics such as emphasizing critical understanding,information integration,and knowledge construction.It has certain instructive significance for the reform of English teaching in middle schools in China.Based on the basic characteristics of deep learning,this article attempts to explain the possibility of constructing a middle school English classroom teaching model from five dimensions:teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching methods,teaching tools,and teaching evaluation,so as to provide a certain reference for promoting deep learning for middle school English learners.
