摘 要:成熟红细胞(erythrocyte)由于无细胞核及含膜细胞器,主要通过糖酵解和磷酸戊糖途径进行能量代谢。糖酵解产生的三磷酸腺苷(adenosine triphos-phate,ATP)作为红细胞内主要能源物质,以往认为主要用于维持红细胞正常功能。早在1997年Mc-Cullough等就观察到缺氧或红细胞变形时,ATP可以被红细胞释放到细胞外。Erythrocytes do not possess mitochondria and mainly rely on glycolysis to synthesize adenosine triphosphate(ATP).The ATP generated within cells can support normal cellular activity and be released through the pannexin 1 channel in the cell membrane.Extracellular ATP participates in the synthesis and release of nitric oxide in vascular endothelial cells,platelet activation and aggregation,and the regulation of red blood cell physiological activities under hypoxic conditions.Moreover,it may promote self-inflammatory reactions under specific conditions.Therefore,the release of ATP from red blood cells is related to the occurrence and development of sickle cell disease,diabetes,aging,and other diseases.To provide a reference for future research on red blood cell energy metabolism,this article reviews the processes of ATP synthesis and release in red blood cells,the physiological effects after ATP release,and the relationship between ATP and various diseases.
