《习近平用典》中出自《道德经》的典故英译研究——以伽达默尔解释学为视角

摘　　要：通过梳理伽达默尔解释学翻译理论以及该理论对《道德经》英译的实践研究,运用理解的历史性、效果历史和视域融合理论,分析了《习近平用典》第一辑中《道德经》英译。指出新的历史时期,解释学理论指导下典籍的英译应遵循词汇、句法、语义层面的翻译策略:选取具有时代性的词语、采用简单句型、增加政治文化语义内涵等翻译策略来更准确传达习近平同志用典中所蕴含的治国理政思想,讲好中国故事。This paper,by combing Gadamer’s hermeneutic translation theory and its practical research on the English translation of Tao Te Ching,analyzed the C-E translation of the allusions applied in The Literary Quotations of Xi Jinping out of Tao Te Ching,taking the theory of prehistory understanding,effective history and fusion of horizons.It points out that in the new historical period,under the guidance of hermeneutic theory,the English translation of classics should follow the translation strategies at the lexical,syntactic and semantic levels,i.e.,selecting contemporary words,adopting simple sentence patterns,and adding or omitting political and cultural semantic connotation to convey the governing thoughts contained in General Secretary Xi Jinping’s quotations more accurately,so as to“tell a good Chinese story”.
