功能对等理论视角下影视字幕的翻译研究——以《风雨哈佛路》为例

摘　　要：随着跨文化传播的不断深入,电影逐渐成为大众传播领域的重要媒介之一。字幕翻译作为一种特别的文学翻译形式,也是消除语言障碍促进文化传播的媒介,在电影的推广中承担着不可或缺的角色。本文从电影字幕翻译的特点入手,通过对《风雨哈佛路》翻译实例的分析,从语言层面、社会结构和意识形态等三个方面论述功能对等理论对于电影字幕翻译的指导性作用,以使得原语电影的文化特色以及语言文体等能够获得最大程度的创造性再现。With the deepening of cross-cultural communication,film has gradually become one of the important media in the field of mass communication.Subtitle translation,as a special form of literary translation,is also a medium to eliminate language barriers and promote cultural transmission,which plays an indispensable role in the promotion of films.This paper starts with the characteristics of film subtitle translation,and discusses the guiding role of functional equivalence theory in film subtitle translation from the aspects of language,social structure and ideology through analyzing the translation example of Homeless to Harvard:The Liz Murray Story,so as to make the cultural characteristics and language styles of the source language films obtain the maximum creative representation.
