摘　　要：反诘副词“未必”主要分布在西南官话、湘语、江淮官话的部分方言中。当语气副词“未必”的弱否定义不能满足说话人主观上的强否定意图时,会引发其所在陈述句向反问句转变,“未必”被重新分析为反诘副词。该形成过程体现了从“否定”到“反诘”的语义演变规律,反诘副词“未必”还进一步发展出了测度疑问用法。The adverb weibi未必as a rhetorical question marker distributes in some dialects of Southwest Mandarins,Xiang and Jianghuai Mandarins.When the weak negation function performed by the adverb weibi未必fails to satisfy the speaker's strong intention to negate,the transition is triggered from the declarative sentence to a rhetorical question,in which weibi未必is reanalyzed as a rhetorical question marker.This process exemplifies the general semantic evolution from negation to rhetorical question mood,and the adverb weibi未必has also developed a usage of speculative question.
