V.S.奈保尔“旅行人格”的形成探析

摘　　要：通过分析奈保尔旅行背后的多种影响因素,认为他特殊的童年经历、探索缺失历史的需要及阶级认同的需要、现实生活和写作及对存在的哲学思考带来的焦虑驱使奈保尔无数次踏上旅途,并塑造了其“旅行人格”。认为这种人格体现在奈保尔的“外显行为”和“内隐思维”中,反映了作家人格中的“不稳定性”与“渴望安全”的意识。By analyzing the various influencing factors behind Naipaul s travels,it was believed that his special childhood experiences,the need to explore missing history and class identity,the anxiety of real life,writing,and philosophical reflections on existence drove Naipaul to embark on countless journeys and shaped his“travel personality”.This personality was embodied in Naipaul s“explicit behavior”and“implicit thinking”,reflecting the sense of“instability”and“longing for security”in the writer s personality.
