摘　　要：Regardless of the development trend of translation studies,the existence of translation is inseparable from the participation of translators.From the perspective of literary translation,this paper analyses and points out that a translator plays different roles in the course of translation.He is a reader,an author,a creator,and a researcher.These identities are independent from each other but inseparable as a whole.
