男子气概思想内涵和社会价值的文化学解读

摘　　要：作为男性气质的文化概念,男子气概在人类存续和发展过程中扮演着重要角色,是男性个体面对艰险、克服恐惧并最终取得成功的美德和精神支柱。然而,受过度看重权力关系的社会学男性气质研究范式的影响,男子气概所蕴含的诸多品质没有得到足够的重视。该文主要通过对文化人类学、文化历史学和文化心理学3个领域中最具代表性的著作和学术思想的细读和梳理,探讨文化学在男子气概研究方面的学术贡献,审视男子气概在全球范围内存在的文化状貌、男子气概的文化内涵、男子气概备受文化重视的历史和现实原因,以及男子气概的证明与文化存续和繁荣的关系,希望对读者重识男子气概,并了解学界对男子气概的研究有所启示。As a cultural concept of masculinity,manhood plays an important role in the survival and development of human beings.It represents a virtue and serves as a spiritual anchor for men to face difficulties,overcome fears and achieve success.However,due to the sociological paradigm of masculinity which is overly focused on power relations,many qualities and virtues inherent in manhood have been ignored.This paper intends to explore the academic contributions of culturology in manhood study by interpreting the most representative works and academic thoughts in the fields of cultural anthropology,cultural history and cultural psychology,to examine the cultural manifestations of masculinity throughout the world,the cultural connotations of manhood,the reasons of manhood’s being appreciated,and the relations between the certification of manhood and the cultural prosperity,which may shed some light on present people’s understanding of manhood and manhood study in academic circles.
