科学翻译学视角下的科技日语翻译  

On Translation of Japanese for Science and Technology from the Perspective of Science Translatology

摘　　要：基于科学翻译学理论对科技日语翻译进行研究,探讨了科学翻译学三大原则语用价值、语里意义、语表形式对科技日语翻译的理论指导性作用,结合科技日语特点举例分析具体的翻译策略。研究发现:语用价值原则可提高译文在文化、术语及表达三方面的可接受性;语里意义原则可最大限度还原科技信息,实现内容的可接受性;语表形式原则可使译文更符合译语表达习惯。采用全译策略可使译文更符合汉语的表达习惯,具体可采取增减、转换、分合等翻译策略,有效提高科技译文质量。This paper studies the translation of scientific Japanese texts based on the theories of science translatology,and discusses the guiding role of its three key principles translation.In the meantime,specific translation strategies are analyzed with examples which feature scientific Japanese texts.It is found that:the principle of pragmatic value can increase the translation’s acceptability in terms of culture,terminology,and expression;The principle of linguistic meaning emphasizes the acceptable content which convey the most complete scientific and technological knowledge in the source texts;The principle of expression aims at a better match between the expression in the target language and source language.In addition,the full translation strategy such as amplification,omission,conversion,splitting and combination can be applied to effectively improve the quality of scientific translation from Japanese into Chinese.
