摘　　要：《我年轻时的朋友》体现了艾丽丝·门罗一以贯之的精巧叙事,却又不局限于此,而是将笔触伸向了社会文化和现实世界。弗洛拉是解读整部小说的关键,本文依据叙述者提供的文本内部信息,分别将她定义为三种不同形象,即传统完美女人、典型复仇女神和后现代城市女性。借助读者反应和误读等视角,门罗在谋篇布局中揭示人的存在问题,批判道德说教,关注现代女性的主体建构,探寻城市化带来的社会冲击和身份焦虑,使作品具备历史书写元小说的意蕴。Alice Munro's Friend of My Youth shows not only delicate narratives but also the reflections on culture,history and reality.Flora,the heroine in the story,is critical for readersfull understanding of the whole work.This paper is intended to take different perspectives to interpret Flora as a perfect woman in tradition,the Vengeance and a city woman in the postmodern era.As a historiographic metafiction,Friend of My Youth reveals the dilemma in existence,criticizes didactic tendency and explores the effective way to avoid cultural anxiety caused by urbanization and to construct effective subjectivity.
