摘  要:In a recently published Nature article,Lee et al.investigated distinct metabolic dependencies of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDA)cells compared to normal tissue,and discovered that PDA cells exhibited a unique reliance on de novo ornithine synthesis from glutamine,rather than arginine.This aberrant polyamine synthesis offers a promising therapeutic target for pancreatic cancer.
