世界一流大学数字资源长期保存的调查与启示

摘　　要：数字资源已经成为图书馆服务的基础。然而,由于计算机软硬件故障、技术过时以及高昂的运维成本等原因,图书馆在数字资源的长期保存方面面临着重大挑战。为了解世界一流大学数字资源长期保存的现状,通过在线调查法对U.S.News排名前100所世界一流大学数字资源长期保存情况进行调查,总结其先进经验,并结合我国高校图书馆现状,提出以下建议:图书馆在数字资源长期保存方面扮演重要角色,应重视数字资源长期保存馆员队伍建设,对全校师生开放数字存储服务与证书课程,积极参与国际数字资源长期保存组织与开源社区,探索DNA、玻璃等全新的数字资源长期保存技术等,以使我国高校图书馆能够应对数字时代的全新要求。Digital resources have become the basis of library services.However,libraries face significant challenges in the digital preservation due to factors such as software and hardware failures,outdated technology,and high operation and maintenance costs.In order to understand the current situation of longterm preservation of digital resources in domestic and foreign universities,an online survey was conducted to investigate the long-term preservation of digital resources in the top 100 universities ranked by U.S.News.The advanced experience was summarized,and based on the current situation of university libraries in China,the following suggestions were proposed:libraries play an important role in the long-term preservation of digital resources,and should pay attention to the construction of a team of librarians for long-term preservation of digital resources,open digital storage services and certificate courses to all teachers and students of the school,actively participate in international digital preservation organizations and open source communities,explore new digital preservation technologies such as DNA and Silica,so that my country's university libraries can meet the evolving demands of the digital age.
