注重学理性:蔡元培的研究观与在北京大学的实践

摘　　要：蔡元培主张大学应该开展对高深学问的研究。他在担任北京大学校长期间通过创建专门的学术研究机构、聘请富有研究水平的师资等多种方式与措施来实践其坚守的研究理念。蔡元培提倡的研究观突出表现为强调“学理性”。这种风格的形成至少深受三种因素的强有力的影响:一是其具有的学识素养,二是德国大学的教育理念,三是所主掌的北京大学的地位。Cai Yuanpei advocated that universities should carry out advanced research.He took many ways to practice his research concept by establishing special academic research institutions and hiring qualified teachers during his term as president.The research advocated by Cai Yuanpei highlighted“scientific rationality”.The formation of his style is strongly influenced by three factors:his academic quality,the German university education concept,and the nature and status of the university.
