摘　　要：五四以来新文学的发展始终伴随着对中国社会的现实观照,在一百多年的发展历程中,新文学不仅形成了自己的传统,也从未停止过与中华传统文化的精神对话。这种对话主要体现在三个方面:一是文化精神的传承与发展,新文学以“自觉”的姿态建构新传统的同时,也实现了与传统文化观念的深层互动;二是文化思辨的赓续与演进,新文学在经典建构的过程中,从根本上延续了中国文学对人性、苦难及命运的文化思考;三是文化品格的创造性发展,新文学在新世纪的发展,既是对传统文化品格的深化,也充分体现出立足当下的精神品格。在大力提倡文化复兴的当下,重新审视五四以来新文学与传统文化的内在关系,发掘五四传统的当代价值,探讨五四精神如何走向未来,对建设中华民族现代文明,构建属于我们这个时代的新文化具有重要的现实意义。The development of May Fourth New Literature has always been accompanied by the practical care for Chinese society. In the process of over a hundred years of development, May Fourth New Literature has not only formed its own tradition, but has never stopped engaging in spiritual dialogue with traditional Chinese culture, which is mainly reflected in three aspects: firstly, the inheritance of cultural spirit. While May Fourth New Literature constructed new traditions with a “ conscious” attitude, it also achieved deep interaction with traditional cultural concepts. The second is the continuation of cultural speculation. In the process of constructing classics, May Fourth New Literature fundamentally continued the cultural thinking of Chinese literature on human nature, suffering, and destiny. The third is the creative development of cultural character. The development of May Fourth New Literature in the new century has not only deepened the traditional cultural character, but it also fully reflects the spiritual character based on the present. In promoting the revival of traditional culture, it is of great practical significance to re-examine the interactive relationship between May Fourth New Literature and traditional culture, explore the contemporary value of the May Fourth tradition, and explore how the May Fourth spirit moves towards the future, in order to achieve the great rejuvenation of traditional Chinese culture.
