连谓句中成事二价动作动词英译分析——基于“习近平经济思想”双语平行语料库的研究

摘　　要：本文拟引入配价语法,分析汉语连谓句中成事二价动作动词的英译方式,并根据其句法语义属性分析翻译背后的制约机制。研究选取“习近平经济思想”汉英平行语料库(CEPCXET)中具有代表性的成事二价动作动词以及所选动词构成的连谓单句为双语语料。研究发现,连谓句中成事二价动作动词与其他动词构成多种语义递进关系,有多种英译方法。通过总结递进关系,找出连谓句中该类动词的英译规律,可以更科学高效、更有针对性地进行英译实践。This paper aims to introduce the valency grammar to analyze the translation methods of result bivalent action verbs in the chainpredicate sentences,and to explore the constraints underlying the translation process based on their syntactic and semantic attributes.The research selects representative result bivalent action verbs from the Parallel Corpus of Xi Jinping's Economic Thoughts as well as bilingual corpora consisting of the chain-predicate constructions involving the chosen verbs.It reveals that result bivalent action verbs in the chain-predicate constructions exhibit various semantic progressive relationships with other verbs,which can be translated using multiple methods.By summarizing these progressive relationships and identifying the translation patterns of these verbs in this kind of constructions,a more scientifically grounded and efficient approach to English translation can be achieved.
