超声波作用对铝合金铸锭微观组织的影响

摘  要:利用超声波处理铝熔体可改善铸锭微观组织从而达到改善性能的目的。将纯铝在小坩埚中熔化并对其施加超声波处理,与未施加超声波作用的样品进行对比发现,施加超声处理后的铸锭在纵截面上形成了均匀细小的微观组织,而未施加超声处理的铸锭则形成粗大不均匀的微观组织,与基于元胞自动机的有限元法(CAFE)仿真分析结果吻合。为了进一步分析研究,以2A14铝合金ϕ830 mm大铸锭为研究对象,对比分析施加与不施加超声波处理的铸锭微观组织发现,对熔体施加超声处理后的铸锭从心部到边缘晶粒组织均有细化,与仿真分析结果接近。因此对熔体施加超声处理无论对于小铸锭还是大铸锭均有明显的晶粒细化作用,有利于提高铝锭的综合性能。Ultrasonic treatment of aluminum melt can refine the microstructure of ingot to improve the properties.Pure aluminum was melted in a small crucible,and ultrasonic treatment was applied and not applied for comparison.It was found that the ingot with ultrasonic treatment formed uniform and fine microstructure on the longitudinal section,while the ingot without ultrasonic treatment formed coarse and uneven microstructure,which was consistent with the simulation results of finite element method based on cellular automata(CAFE).For further analysis,2A14 aluminum alloy ingot with a diameter of 830mm was taken as a research object.The microstructure of ingots with and without ultrasonic treatment were compared and analyzed.It was found that the grain structure of ingots with ultrasonic treatment was refined from the center to the edge,which was close to the simulation results.Therefore,ultrasonic treatment has an obvious grain refinement effect on both small and large ingots,which is conducive to improving the comprehensive properties of aluminum ingots.
