摘　　要：Emerging epidemiological findings indicate a rising incidence of primary liver cancer,now a foremost contributor to cancer-related mortalities worldwide[1].Several factors play a pivotal role in liver cancer etiology,including infections from the Hepatitis B/C virus,a spectrum of liver diseases like alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases(NAFLD,ASH,and NASH),metabolic aberrations(e.g.,obesity,diabetes),exposure to hepatocarcinogens(e.g.,aflatoxin,aristolochic acid,and iron overload),and disruptions in gut microbiota.Chronic liver diseases,encompassing conditions such as NAFLD and NASH,represent hepatic expressions of metabolic syndrome and bear the potential to culminate in liver cancer.
