摘 要:桥梁书是介于图画书和纯文字书之间的一种儿童读物类型,主要供6~9岁的儿童完成从图画书到整本文字书阅读过渡使用。这个年龄段的儿童对文字的兴趣增大,但仍然依赖形象思维进行事物认知。桥梁书以风趣幽默的语言打造极具情境感和音画感的叙事文本,深入孩子心理、引导孩子们实现共情。桥梁书翻译可从语相、语气、语词等方面入手再现原作风格。Bridging books provide a bridge between picture books and chapter books for children aged 6~9.Research in cognitive developmental psychology shows that children in this age group are increasingly interested in words,but still strongly dependent on images to perceive and understand things.With humorous language,bridging books create narrative texts that are highly situational and audio-visual,meeting children's psychological needs and guiding them to achieve empathy.When translating bridging books,we should follow the"child-centered"principle,analyze the characteristics of child readers,and respect their aesthetic needs.This article takes the newly published Pirate Blunderbeard series as an example to discuss how to reproduce the style of bridging books from the perspective of print forms,tone,vocabulary and syntax.
