摘  要:本研究基于复杂动态系统理论的语言发展观,采用可视化时间序列数据分析方法,追踪研究了3名不同初始水平的非英语专业学习者4个学期不同阶段的英语议论文作文,考察了复杂度、准确度和流利度(CAF)各指标的多元交互发展情况。研究发现:CAF各指标呈非线性发展,个体间和个体内存在显著差异,学习者初始英语水平对发展模式产生较大影响;不同初始水平学习者的各发展指标表现出多样化交互发展特征,呈现竞争、支持和相对独立发展等交互模式;学习者认知资源的有限性是制约各指标协同发展的主要原因。Based on the language development view of Complex Dynamic Systems Theory,this study adopted the visualized time series data analysis technique to study the L2 argumentative writings produced by three non-English majors at different initial levels in four semesters,and investigates the multiple interactive development characteristics under the subsystems of complexity,accuracy and fluency(CAF)in time series.The results show that the measurement indicators of three subsystems develop in a different non-linear way,with significant differences between and within individuals.Learners’initial English levels have great impact on the developmental patterns of subsystems.There are various interactive modes among the three subsystems for learners at different levels,and interactive modes of competition,support and relatively independent development exist among different indicators.It is also found that the limitation of learners’cognitive resources is the major cause of restricting the collaborative development of the subsystems in L2 writing.
