摘  要:本文采用定量与定性相结合的研究方法,考察英汉交替传译认知策略的构成。笔者首先编制了英汉交传认知策略能力量表,运用此量表调查了294名职业译员和268名MTI口译方向学生译员。然后,采用探索性因子分析和结构方程模型,探究并验证英汉交传认知策略能力的构成要素,并探讨要素之间及其与交传表现之间的关系。结果表明,英汉交传认知策略能力由听辨、记忆与笔记、产出三大要素构成,三者均对交替传译表现有显著的正向影响。此外,听辨策略同记忆与笔记策略有双向正向影响,记忆与笔记策略同产出策略亦存在双向影响,听辨策略对产出策略具有显著的单向影响。本文明晰了口译能力的内涵,分析了口译策略之间的相互关系,相关研究成果可应用于口译教学和测评实践,提升口译教学效果。This study examines the construct of cognitive strategic competence in English/Chinese consecutive interpreting(CI)by applying qualitative and quantitative methods.We developed a scale for English/Chinese CI cognitive strategic competence and used it to collect data from 294professional interpreters and 268 MTI interpreting students.Then,we used exploratory factor analysis and structural equation modelling to explore and validate the factors of cognitive strategic competence in English/Chinese CI,the relationships among the factors and their relationships with English/Chinese CI performance.Based on the results,the study identifies the three factors of cognitive strategic competence in English/Chinese CI:listening and analysis(LA),memory and note-taking(MN)and production.They all have significant positive effects on CI performance.The results further indicate the positive reciprocal associations between LA and MN as well as between MN and production.Additionally,a one-way positive effect of LA upon production was found.This study sheds light on the conceptual understanding of interpreting competence and analyzes the relationships among interpreting strategies.The findings can be applied to interpreting teaching and assessment practice to improve interpreting education.
