物质史视域下19世纪前中期海外汉学期刊的中国知识传播——以《中国丛报》为中心

摘　　要：19世纪以来,海外汉学期刊成为研究、传播中国知识的重要媒介,推进了中国知识的国际传播。《中国丛报》等在华英文期刊聚合起19世纪前中期来华的西人精英,向西方介绍了中国的方方面面,并在系统性物质实践中产生出19世纪英语世界关于中国知识的新权威。媒介版式、印刷技术、传播网络等多重因素共同塑造了19世纪前中期海外汉学期刊生产及传播中国知识的物质基础。Since the 19th century,Sinology periodicals have become an important medium for the study and dissemination of Chinese knowledge.The English periodicals such as Chinese Repository gathered together the Western elites who came to China in the early and middle 19th century,introduced all aspects of China to the West,and produced a new authority on Chinese knowledge in the English world in the 19th century through systematic material practice.Multiple factors such as media layout,printing technology,and communication networks collectively shaped the material foundation for the production and dissemination of Chinese knowledge in Sinology periodicals in the early and mid-19th century.
