摘 要:目的:探讨摄入咖啡因对平原居民低氧通气反应(hypoxic ventilatory response,HVR)的影响。方法:采用单盲和随机交叉试验:16名平原居民男性分别摄入含咖啡因胶囊(5 mg/kg,咖啡因组)或同等质量淀粉胶囊(对照组),观察1 h后安静和运动中HVR的变化。运动模式为半卧位蹬自行车,强度为50%最大摄氧量。安静和运动中HVR分别是通过间歇性吸入100%氮气和8%氧气,使动脉血氧饱和度(arterial oxygen saturation,SpO_(2))急性降低到5个目标值(95%、90%、85%、80%和75%),并测定各目标值对应的每分通气量(minute ventilation,VE)。结果:咖啡因组安静和运动中的V E显著性高于对照组(P<0.05)。咖啡因组和对照组运动中的HVR皆高于安静时的值(P<0.05),但是两组间的HVR无显著性差异。结论:摄入中等剂量咖啡因可增加平原居民安静及运动中的V E,而对两种状态下的HVR没有影响。Objective:To investigate the effect of caffeine intake on hypoxic ventilatory response(HVR)in sea-level residents.Methods:Single-blind and randomized crossover trials were used:16 sea-level male residents ingested capsules containing 5 mg/kg of caffeine(caffeine trial)or equal amount of starch capsules(placebo trial),and the changes in HVR at rest and during exercise were observed one hour later.Exercise was performed by pedaling a bicycle in a semi-recumbent position at an intensity of 50%maximal oxygen uptake.Transient hypoxic breathing of 100%N_(2) at rest and 8%O_(2) during moderate-intensity exercise were conducted.This procedure was repeated to achieve target arterial O_(2) saturation(SpO_(2))values of 95%,90%,85%,80%,and 75%.The HVR was estimated as the slope of the linear regression line relating SpO_(2) with minute ventilation(VE).Results:Caffeine increased VE during rest and exercise compared to the placebo trial(P<0.05).HVR during exercise was higher than at rest both in the placebo or caffeine trial(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in HVR between the two trials either at rest or during exercise.Conclusions:A moderate dose of caffeine increases VE at rest and during exercise with no effect on HVR in either states.
