摘　　要：We read the article by Liu et al.[1]entitled“Transanal total mesorectal excision combined with intersphincteric resection has similar long-term oncological outcomes to laparoscopic abdominoperineal resection in low rectal cancer:a propensity scorematched cohort study.”The article is very interesting and boldly depicted.However,I noticed some areas of the article that I could not find the answers to.
