摘　　要：电影《美国牧歌》(2016)改编自美国犹太作家菲利普·罗斯出版于1997年并获得普利策文学奖的同名小说。电影结合美国社会历史的大背景讲述了犹太人瑞典佬对美国梦的追寻,而关键人物是瑞典佬的女儿梅丽,她成为美国社会的危险分子,直接导致了瑞典佬美国梦的破灭。对意识形态教育的失败成为理解梅丽如何从富家女成为恐怖分子的关键,反映了当代美国社会文化的内在矛盾和复杂变化。The film American Pastoral(2016)is adapted from the novel published by American Jewish writer Philip Roth in 1997 which won the Pulitzer Prize for Literature.Combining with the background of American social history,the film tells the Jewish Swede’s pursuit of the American dream,and the key figure is Merry,the daughter of the Swedes,who becomes a dangerous element in American society and directly leads to the disillusionment of the Swede’s American dream.The failure of ideological education becomes the key to understand how Merry became a terrorist from a rich girl,which reflects the internal contradictions and complex changes of contemporary American social culture.
