中华历史典籍中的大禹文化在英语世界的译介研究

摘　　要：大禹文化代表了“内圣外王”的中华“治道”精神,塑造了“多元一体”的中华民族共同体意识,是中华文化传承与传播的重要内容。大禹文化所涵盖的核心文化要素,通过三类历史典籍的译介而传播海外:上古书经《尚书》中大禹的“化民之德”,官史之首《史记》中大禹的“治世之功”,地方史志《越绝书》《吴越春秋》中大禹的“华夷一体”身份传说。文化专有项误译是中华文化译介需要解决的关键性问题,通过文化对比、历史还原、体系构建,有助于提高文化专有项翻译的准确性,实现中华文化传播的中外融通,古今传承,让中华“治道”走向全球。探究中华历史典籍中的大禹文化在英语世界的译介实践,可以为中华文化对外传播提供经验和启示。The culture of Great Yu represents the Chinese“way of governance”spirit of“inner saint and outer king”,and shapes the sense of community of Chinese nation into“unity of diversity”,which is an important part of the inheritance and dissemination of Chinese culture.The key components of the Great Yu culture are transmitted to overseas by the English translation of three types of historical classics,namely,the virtue of transforming people in Shangshu,the merit of governing the world in Shiji,the ethnic identity legend of Dayu in Yuejue Shu and Wuyue Chunqiu.The mistranslation of culture-specific items is a key issue that needs to be addressed in the translation of Chinese culture.This paper proposes that we can improve the accuracy of translating culture-specific items through cultural comparison,historical restoration,and system construction,so as to realize the integration of Chinese-foreign culture and the inheritance of ancient and modern Chinese culture,so that the Chinese“way of governance”can go global.Exploring the translation practice of Great Yu culture in Chinese historical classics in the English-speaking world can provide experience and enlightenment for the dissemination of Chinese culture to the foreign world.
