技术辅助下新型同声传译的认知负荷与译文质量研究

摘　　要：本文采用眼动追踪研究方法,考察在汉译英方向,有技术辅助同传和无技术辅助同传的认知负荷和译文质量,并探讨同传能力的调节作用。研究发现,在语音识别技术和机器翻译技术辅助下的新型同声传译能显著降低学生译员的认知负荷,并提高译文质量。但是,相比学生译员,技术辅助同传的优势对职业译员而言不够显著。本文从记忆压力、双语转换压力以及“天花板效应”等角度对研究结果进行了解释。This study used the eye-tracking method to investigate the cognitive load and interpretation quality of simultaneous Chinese-English interpretation with and without technological assistance.We also explored how the effect of interpretation mode on cognitive load and interpretation quality varied between novice and professional interpreters.The results showed that simultaneous interpretation assisted by automatic speech recognition and machine translation reduced the cognitive load on novice interpreters and improved their interpretation accuracy.However,the advantages of technology-assisted simultaneous interpretation are less evident among professional interpreters.We discussed the findings from the perspectives of working memory pressure and language transfer,as well as the ceiling effect.
