摘　　要：孙元化是明末杰出的科技专家,也是明清战争初期颇有作为的抗清官员。他在明朝丧师失地的战争背景下,在抗敌前线筑台制炮,选将练兵,积极参与御敌平乱的军事行动。作为技术型官员,孙元化主导的军事活动,特点更加鲜明,既充分重视先进军事技术的应用,但又轻视对麾下兵将的掌控驾驭。他的军事活动处在明清易代的历史节点上,势必推动明清战局的变化,也对当时军事技术和战术的发展,以及天主教徒群体的兴衰产生深刻影响。Sun Yuanhua was an outstanding scientific and technological expert in the late Ming Dynasty and an accomplished anti-Qing official in the early days of the warring periods of the Ming and Qing dynasties.In the context of the war in which the Ming Dynasty lost troops and territory,he built platforms and made artillery on the front line to resist the enemy,selected generals and trained troops,and actively participated in military operations to defend the enemy and quell the chaos.As a technical official,the military activities led by Sun Yuanhua had more distinctive characteristics.He not only paid full attention to the application of advanced military technologies,but also despised the control and the generals and soldiers under his command.His military activities were at the historical juncture of the Ming and Qing dynasties,and were bound to promote changes in the war situation during the Ming and Qing dynasties.They also had a profound impact on the development of military technologies and tactics at that time,as well as the rise and fall of the Catholic community.
