摘  要:十九世纪末至二十世纪初是古典主义艺术与印象主义艺术思潮的膨胀期,许多艺术家作为第一批现代主义思潮的接受者、解读者,在自己的创作中不同程度地运用了光色技巧。美国肖像画家约翰•辛格•萨金特作为当时饶有名气的肖像画家,融合古典与印象主义艺术,以独特的用水及用色技巧,巧妙表现其艺术追求,其画风受到当时资产阶级与艺术圈的追捧。本文以萨金特的光色运用为着眼点,首先探索其求学古典、融合印象的艺术经历。其次,从用水及用色两方面,解读萨金特作品中的“湿画法”及色彩主观性。最后,结合镀金时代的社会背景与艺术家群体,分析萨金特作品“折衷”表现光色的大众审美价值与普及意义。From the end of the nineteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century is the expansion of classical art and impressionism art trend of thought,many artists as the first batch of modernist trend of thought recipients,interpretation readers,in their own creation of different degrees of the use of light and color skills.American portrait painter John Singer Sargent,as a famous portrait painter at that time,integrated classical and impressionism art,and skillfully expressed his artistic pursuit with unique water and color skills.His painting style was sought after by the bourgeoisie and art circles at that time.This paper focuses on Sargent's use of light and color,and firstly explores his artistic experience of studying classical and integrating impression.Secondly,from the two aspects of water and color,the"wet painting"and color subjectivity in Sargent's works are interpreted.Finally,combined with the social background of the Gilded Age and the artist group,it analyzes the public aesthetic value and popularization significance of Sargent's works"eclectic"performance of light and color.
